AMERICA 250 CELEBRATION - 1776-2026

Celebration efforts are taking shape for Marlborough’s Celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary. Next year, 2026, will mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence stating the desire of the colonists to break away from England and become an independent country.

How We're Helping

Marlborough Preservation Society is a community-based non-profit organization focused on education, promotion, and preservation of the town's history. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, exciting community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our community.

Our Mission

The mission of the Marlborough Preservation Society is to promote, educate and advocate for the preservation of the town's history in regards to sites, structures, buildings, and/or objects.

Through the collective efforts of the society and the community we can preserve the town's history.
